The vinegar is very easy to obtain. Pour wine or cider in the vinegar pot and add a glass of vinegar. Leave the liquid alcoholized at rest and in contact of the air. Bacteria, transported by the airborne dusts transform this liquid into vinegar by oxidation of the alcohol which it contains. After one month, these bacteria go up on the surface form of it a white veil which is called “the mother of vinegar”. The vinegar is then ready to be consumed. When needs pour some wine or cider, never leave the mother without liquid
Each pot is handmade thrown and glazed, shape and color may vary a bit and not completly match the above picture. This stoneware pottery is fired up to 1200°C, so it's very hard and able to be washed in the dishwasher and it can be used in the microwave oven
